Solar Design Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Solar Design Engineer to join our clients team. The role involves designing developing and optimizing solar systems for industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in solar design software strong technical knowledge of renewable energy systems and the ability to deliver cost-effective safe and efficient solar solutions.Key Responsibilities:Design solar systems (on-grid off-grid and hybrid) according to project requirements and industry standards.Conduct site assessments shading analysis and feasibility studies.Prepare detailed engineering drawings layouts and single-line diagrams (SLDs).Size modules inverters cables and protection devices to ensure optimal system performance.Prepare BOQs (Bill of Quantities) technical proposals and cost estimates.Review and approve technical submittals and ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.Work closely with the project team contractors and suppliers to ensure smooth execution.Perform energy yield analysis using design software (e.g. Helioscope AutoCAD SketchUp).Support project commissioning testing and handover.Stay updated with the latest solar technologies regulations and sustainability practices.Requirements:Bachelors degree in Electrical Mechanical Renewable Energy or related engineering field.2 to 5 years of experience in solar design and engineering.Proficiency in solar design tools (AutoCAD Helioscope etc.).Strong knowledge of international and local electrical codes and safety standards.Hands-on experience with grid-connected and hybrid solar systems.Strong analytical problem-solving and project management skills.Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
