Soil ScientistWe are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Soil Scientist to join our team in Jabal-Ali, UAE. As a Soil Scientist, you will be responsible for conducting research and analysis on soil properties, fertility, and management techniques. This role requires a deep understanding of agricultural practices and the ability to provide recommendations for optimal soil use.Responsibilities:- Conduct soil surveys and collect data on physical, chemical, and biological properties of different soil types- Analyze soil samples in the laboratory to determine nutrient levels and other important characteristics- Develop and implement management plans for improving soil quality and fertility- Advise farmers on best practices for sustainable use of soil resources- Conduct research on new techniques and technologies related to soil conservation, erosion control, and land reclamation- Prepare reports on findings and present them to colleagues, clients, or government agencies- Collaborate with other scientists and experts in related fields such as agronomy or environmental scienceRequirements:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Soil Science or related field- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of soil science- Extensive knowledge of agricultural practices- Strong analytical skills- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment- Excellent communication skills- Willingness to travel for research purposesPreference will be given to African candidates with experience working in similar environments.
