Software Quality Analyst I

Job Description As a Software Quality Analyst I at Bentley, you will play a crucial role in managing CAD Software Quality. You will be responsible for conducting functional testing, creating test cases, performing regression and performance testing, and ensuring timely communication on progress. Your key responsibilities will include: - Conducting ongoing functional testing and analysis of enhancements to companys software development activities. - Understanding the functional testing/quality assurance process for testing desktop products. - Owning testing for multiple features of the platform product. - Creating and executing test cases for various features by understanding end-user requirements. - Performing regression and performance testing. - Engaging in automated testing. - Reporting, tracking, and analyzing defects. - Verifying/validating customer-reported issues. To qualify for this role, you should have: - A B.E degree in Mechanical/Civil with 2-4 years of experience in Software testing. - Knowledge of at least one CAD tool like MicroStation, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, etc. - Experience in application testing is a plus. - Strong logic and engineering workflow sense. - Understanding of testing/quality assurance processes. - Analytical and problem-solving skills. - Preferably hold a Software Testing certificate like ISTQB, CSTE. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Experience in CAD/CAM/CAE testing is preferred.
