Software Engineer III - Python, Automation Testing

Job Description As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the AI/ML & Data platform team, you will play a vital role in designing and delivering trusted technology products that are secure, stable, and scalable. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with a focus on innovative approaches. - Creating secure and high-quality production code while maintaining algorithms that work synchronously with systems. - Producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensuring design constraints are met. - Analyzing, synthesizing, and developing visualizations and reporting from large data sets to enhance software applications. - Proactively identifying hidden problems and patterns in data to drive improvements in coding hygiene and system architecture. You will be required to have: - Formal training or certification in Software engineering concepts and a minimum of 3 years of applied experience. - Hands-on experience in Python Automation, UI/API Automation. - Proficiency in coding in one or more languages and experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a corporate environment. - Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, agile methodologies, and modern programming languages and database querying languages. - Understanding of CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security principles. - Demonstrated knowledge of software applications and technical processes within technical disciplines such as cloud, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with modern front-end technologies and exposure to cloud technologies.
