Job Description As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth Management, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner. Your responsibilities will include: - Executing software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with the ability to think innovatively - Creating secure and high-quality production code while maintaining algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems - Producing architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensuring design constraints are met by software code development - Gathering, analyzing, synthesizing, and developing visualizations and reporting from large, diverse data sets to improve software applications and systems - Proactively identifying hidden problems and patterns in data to enhance coding hygiene and system architecture - Contributing to software engineering communities of practice and events to explore new technologies - Fostering a team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect Qualifications and Skills: - Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3 years of applied experience - Strong core Java and Spring Boot experience - Agile development experience in a fast-paced environment - Good understanding of data persistence (SQL or non-SQL) data paradigms - Experience working with market Data Feeds Preferred Skills: - Experience in a financial service environment with a focus on finance front-office applications - Solid financial engineering background - Prior experience in developing middleware (Kafka, data caching) - Experience in front-office capital markets/investment management applications with an understanding of equity and fixed income markets As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Asset & Wealth Management, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable manner.
