Software Development Engineer II - Backend

Job Description You will be responsible for the following key responsibilities: - Backend development of multiple microservices. - Writing and maintaining clean and highly scalable code. - Writing unit test cases and maintaining high code coverage. - Refactoring the existing codebase in collaboration with senior engineers. - Designing the microservices in collaboration with senior engineers. - Executing deliverables for projects assigned to you as a part of the team. - Assisting with the current and future technical hiring requirements of the company. To be eligible for this role, you must meet the following minimum requirements: - 3+ years of experience in coding in Java. - Good understanding of at least one of the databases such as MySQL, Postgres, MongoDB, and Cassandra. - Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Familiarity with agile software development methodology. - Must have a computer science educational background.
