Job Description Role Overview: You are a passionate and driven Software Engineer in Test who will be a critical part of ensuring the quality and success of innovative credit products within the Financial Services - Credit organization at PayPal. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to and eventually lead testing efforts across the entire credit roadmap. - Gain a deep understanding of products by testing them end-to-end, providing a holistic view of the product ecosystem. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless product delivery. - Ensure high-quality product delivery that exceeds customer expectations. - Enhance testing tools and automation frameworks to improve efficiency and effectiveness. - Drive the entire testing life cycle, including gathering requirements, planning execution, and executing test plans. - Contribute to building tools, frameworks, and infrastructure needed to support test automation. - Build, maintain, and execute E2E automation suites for responsible projects. - Design and implement automation frameworks. - Accept mentorship, code-reviews, and guide team members. Qualifications Required: - 4+ years of experience in JavaScript/Node, RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and modern web front-end technologies such as React. - 4+ years of test automation experience across web, mobile, and API automation. - Proficiency in industry-standard automation tools like Selenium, Appium, and Rest assured or equivalent tools. - Good understanding of CI process and tools such as Jenkins, Git, branching/merging, build systems. - Ability to go end-to-end on any stack and unearth the best patterns and design decisions. - Strong appreciation for clean code and enabling others to contribute using well-defined conventions.
