Job Description
Job Description As a ServiceNow Developer, your role involves designing, developing, and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and create solutions that align with those requirements. Additionally, you will maintain and enhance existing ServiceNow applications, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features. Your responsibilities include:
- Designing, developing, and implementing complex ServiceNow solutions.
- Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand and address their needs.
- Maintaining and enhancing existing ServiceNow applications.
- Troubleshooting and resolving ServiceNow issues.
- Keeping abreast of the latest ServiceNow features.
- Mentoring and training junior ServiceNow developers.
- Contributing to the development and implementation of ServiceNow best practices.
- Identifying and documenting business processes for automation.
- Integrating ServiceNow with other IT systems.
- Developing user-centric solutions for customers.
- Participating in agile planning ceremonies.
- Testing and deploying ServiceNow solutions using Agile methodology.
- Supporting ServiceNow solutions in a production environment.
- Monitoring ServiceNow performance and addressing issues.
- Sharing knowledge and best practices with team members.
- Making mature decisions based on thorough data and process analysis.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 3-5+ years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation.
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA), Certified Application Developer (CAD), or Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is a plus.
- Experience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, Service Portal, Flow Designer, Service Catalog.
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow integrations, reporting, analytics, scripting languages, performance tuning, security, and compliance.
- Exposure to ServiceNow Workspace development and delivering technology in a life science setting are advantageous.
