Social Worker (UAE National)

Al Ain American School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Social Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral well-being, working closely with students, parents, teachers, and school leadership to promote a safe, supportive, and inclusive school environment.Job QualificationsBachelor’s degree in social workDepartment of Community Development in Abu Dhabi (DCD) License as a Social Worker.Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Social Worker or in a student support role, preferably within a school environment.Strong knowledge of child protection, safeguarding, and student welfare practices.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide individual and group counseling to students to support their emotional, social, and behavioral development.Identify, assess, and address students’ social, emotional, and behavioral needs in collaboration with teachers and school leadership.Develop and implement student support plans and interventions aligned with school policies and best practices.Work closely with parents to support student wellbeing and address concerns effectively.Maintain accurate and confidential records of student cases in line with school policies and safeguarding requirements.Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive school environment that supports student wellbeing and positive behavior.Support the implementation of safeguarding and child protection policies and report concerns in accordance with school procedures.Collaborate with staff to promote positive behavior management and student welfare across the school.Contribute to wellbeing programs, awareness sessions, school events, and initiatives that support students’ holistic development.Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of students always.Application FormFull Name Email Address Phone Number Nationality Residing in Current Address: (City / Street) Upload your CV here:#J-18808-Ljbffr
