Job Description As a Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Record-to-Report (R2R) at NielsenIQ, your primary responsibility is to oversee lease accounting, the month-end close process, governance, and metrics related to record-to-report, fixed assets, financial reporting, and compliance. **Responsibilities:** - Manage R2R quality metrics through service level agreements, performance metrics, and continuous governance rhythm as an Individual Contributor. - Execute all periodic services associated with R2R and general financial accounting, such as month-end activities, account reconciliations, periodic reporting, metrics, governance, and internal control. - Standardize processes and enhance process efficiency for month-end close activities, banking, fixed assets, intercompany reconciliation, and financial reporting. - Collaborate with finance business partners to optimize processes and ensure efficiency and consistency. - Analyze financial data to identify risks or improvement opportunities. - Assist in implementing new accounting pronouncements like IFRS, US GAAP, Sox Compliance, and other regulatory changes. - Review process documentation to ensure standard operating procedures are up to date. - Maintain an effective system configuration and IT environment for efficient execution of month-end close processes. **A LITTLE BIT ABOUT YOU:** A successful SME will demonstrate coordinated execution of month-end closing activities, fixed assets, leases, and financial reporting.
