We also offer award-winning capabilities in cyber security, data privacy, and digital transformation.We are currently seeking a Smart Metering Systems Project Director to join our team.Job DescriptionThe Smart Metering Systems Project Director will lead the delivery of the Smart Metering ecosystem, encompassing Meters, communications services, Head-End System (HES), and Meter Data Management System (MDMS). The role ensures seamless integration between operational and IT systems, high-quality field deployment, and reliable data flow from devices to enterprise platforms. It requires strong technical acumen, vendor coordination, and programme leadership within large-scale utilities or smart grid transformation initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the full lifecycle delivery of Meters, communications services, HES, and/or MDMS systems, ensuring technical alignment and performance.Manage multi-vendor relationships and integration across system components.Coordinate planning, logistics, testing, and operational readiness activities.Ensure cybersecurity, scalability, and compliance with regulatory and performance standards.Supervise data integrity, validation, and transfer between HES, MDMS, and downstream systems.Report progress, risks, and dependencies to the Programme Manager and CTO.Drive continuous improvement and innovation across solution components.Qualifications12+ years of experience in utilities, energy, or large-scale smart metering or AMI projects.Proven leadership across multiple technology domains (Meters, communications services, HES, MDMS, or related systems).Strong understanding of communication protocols (DLMS/COSEM), data integration, and cybersecurity.Experience managing multi-vendor delivery and technical integration in complex environments.Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and delivery governance skills.Engineering, IT, or related technical degree; PMP, MPM, or MSP certification beneficial.#J-18808-Ljbffr
