Smart Cities - Senior Program SpecialistAbu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and 1 more (On-site)TrendingJob DescriptionWe are looking for a Smart Cities - Senior Program Specialist in Abu Dhabi.Responsibilities1- Overall responsibility for executing smart cities projects2- Main contact for day-to-day activities with all project stakeholders3- Strong smart city and IOT knowledge dealing with smart city platforms and its integrations.4- Lead the handing over process from estimation team5- Develop detailed project management plan with its respective domains (Scope, time, cost, etc.)6- Execute and deliver projects following best in class methodologies and practices.7- Deliver project on time, within scope with zero or positive marginal improvement.8- Manage changes in scope, time or cost through adding variation orders.9- Liaise internal communication with resources and vendors.10- Develop procurement plan as part of the project management plan11- Identify risks and develop adequate risk response.12- Track and monitor projects performance.13- Monitor monthly projects financial performance measures including revenue recognition, margins, invoicing and cash collection.14- Manage HSE related project activities in coordination with HSE department.Qualifications1- Education: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.2- Experience: more than 10 years of project management experience with experience in smart cities, IOT and Software integrations.3- Certification: Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.4- Skills: Strong leadership, time management, and organizational skills. They should also be able to handle high- pressure situations and deadlines.5- Technical skills: Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices. They should also have a strong working knowledge of MS Office.6- Communication: They should be able to use the right language, terminology, and idioms to pass across their message. The candidate must speak English & Arabic fluently.7- Budget management: They should be able to allocate a budget towards resources, tools, and people involved.
