This role is responsible for onboarding new drivers (Mobility Champions), coaching existing staff, and ensuring that all field operations meet the highest standards of safety, accessibility, and service quality.This is not just a training position—it is a frontline leadership role that blends technical instruction, compliance enforcement, emotional intelligence, and continuous coaching to cultivate a high-performing, care-focused driving team.Key ResponsibilitiesTraining Design & DeliveryFacilitate initial onboarding programs for new drivers, including classroom instruction, simulation, observation, and behind-the-wheel coachingConduct refresher trainings for current drivers, focusing on safety, customer service, compliance updates, and service improvementsDeliver skill-based coaching in areas such as wheelchair securement, paratransit protocols, de-escalation, and rider sensitivityLead assessments and provide real-time feedback on driving behavior, field etiquette, and performanceCompliance & Certification OversightEnsure all drivers meet RTA, MOHAP, and internal safety standards before field deploymentTrack completion of mandatory certifications (defensive driving, CPR, PASS, securement, etc.)Document performance evaluations, skills audits, and compliance checks using training records and learning management systemsCollaborate with HR to ensure training is tied to onboarding timelines and promotion readinessMentorship & Culture BuildingAct as a field mentor and coach, helping drivers develop emotional resilience, rider empathy, and ownership of their roleSupport underperforming staff through individualized coaching plans and structured follow-upsModel company values and build a service-oriented team culture grounded in respect, safety, and inclusionQualificationsMinimum 5 years of driving experience in accessible transport, healthcare, or paratransit servicesAt least 2 years of experience as a trainer, field supervisor, or mentor in a regulated transport or healthcare settingValid UAE Driver’s License (light vehicle) with a clean driving historyCertified in Defensive Driving, CPR/First Aid, Passenger Safety (PASS), and securement proceduresStrong communication and instructional skills (Arabic or Tagalog fluency is a plus)Proven emotional intelligence, patience, and leadership presenceAbility to coach with humility, consistency, and cultural awarenessRequired Certifications (Upon Hire or Within 30 Days)Defensive Driving (RTA/NSC equivalent)First Aid, CPR & AED (Red Crescent/UAE-certified)Passenger Assistance Safety & Sensitivity (PASS)Wheelchair Securement & Lift Operation CertificationAutism & Neurodiversity SensitivityPDPL/UAE Data Privacy ComplianceInstructor-level certification or facilitation training (preferred)Onboarding & Performance RoadmapNew trainers must complete the following within their first 60 days:Observe a full driver onboarding cycleDeliver two modules independently (evaluated by supervisor)Conduct 5+ ride-alongs and submit feedback reportsBuild a coaching plan for 1 underperforming or new driverKey Success Metrics100% training compliance and certification rate for new driversImprovement in trainee performance reviews and customer satisfactionReduction in safety incidents and complaints tied to operator behaviorPositive feedback from drivers regarding trainer support and approachabilityCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary with trainer performance incentivesPaid professional development and certification renewalsUniform and coaching tools providedCareer growth into Training Manager, Operations Lead, or Safety & Compliance OfficerAccess to mental wellness resources and peer support networksApply TodayIf you are passionate about safe, accessible transport and skilled in inspiring others to excel in the field, join Eunoia as a Driver Trainer / Skills Development Coach and help shape the future of mobility in the UAE.Submit your CV and credentials to: careers@eunoiamobility.ae#J-18808-Ljbffr
