Site Project Engineer

OverviewOversee and coordinate daily construction activities on site, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge and practical experience to support project delivery in compliance with design specifications and quality standards.ResponsibilitiesSupervise and coordinate site activities to ensure smooth progress and compliance with project plansLiaise between the design team, contractors, suppliers, and client representativesMonitor work quality, safety standards, and adherence to project specificationsAssist in preparing work schedules, resource allocation, and progress reportsInspect materials and workmanship, and resolve technical issues that arise on siteSupport the Project Manager in managing subcontractors and contractors\' performanceConduct site meetings and provide timely updates to project stakeholdersEnsure all site activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulationsMaintain accurate site records, documentation, and reportsIdentify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies to avoid delaysQualifications, Knowledge & SkillsBachelor's Degree (BSc) in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field with over 7 years of relevant experienceMaster's Degree (MSc) in a related field with over 5 years of relevant experienceStrong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and engineering principlesExcellent communication and coordination skillsAbility to manage multiple tasks and work effectively under pressureProficiency in project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) is a plusDetail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilitiesUnderstanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations on construction sitesAbility to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams#J-18808-Ljbffr
