Job Description

Job DescriptionRole requirements (Please read carefully before applying) :1. HVAC ExecutionSupervise installation of ducting, insulation, GI ducts, flexible ducts, dampers, and hangers.Oversee installation and alignment of HVAC equipment (FAHUs, AHUs, FCUs, VRF, exhaust fans, motorized dampers).Ensure proper installation of copper piping, refrigerant lines, drain lines, and insulation.Coordinate with BMS team for control wiring, sensors, actuators, and VAV connections.Conduct air balancing, leak testing, pressure testing, and commissioning.2. Plumbing & Drainage ExecutionMonitor installation of PPR, HDPE, PVC, copper, GI, and all plumbing systems.Supervise water supply networks, drainage, vent piping, sump pumps, and water tanks.Verify pressure tests, leakage tests, and flushing of water systems.Ensure proper coordination with civil for sleeves, openings, and trenching.3. Firefighting System ExecutionSupervise installation of firefighting piping (black steel, galvanized), fittings, valves, and supports.Monitor installation of sprinklers, hose reel cabinets, fire pumps, and pump room equipment.Conduct hydrostatic testing, flow testing, and ensure compliance with NFPA/local codes.Coordinate with electrical and ELV teams for fire alarm interfaces.4. BMS Integration for Mechanical EquipmentEnsure HVAC and mechanical equipment are correctly interfaced with BMS.Supervise installation of field devices (sensors, actuators, switches, VFD connections).Support commissioning teams during functional testing and system integration.Verify all mechanical equipment points are connected, labeled, and operational.5. Site Coordination & SupervisionCoordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, ELV, structural, and finishing teams.Attend technical and coordination meetings.Resolve site issues, clashes, and technical queries efficiently.Supervise technicians, subcontractors, and ensure proper manpower distribution.6. Quality & SafetyInspect installed materials and equipment to ensure compliance with approved material submittals.Submit inspection requests (IRs) with QA/QC team for system checks.Ensure compliance with safety standards and method statements.Monitor housekeeping and safe work practices.7. Testing & CommissioningWitness mechanical system testing: pressure tests, balancing, equipment startup, pump testing, valve testing.Verify test sheets, commissioning reports, and performance tests.Support handover teams with documentation and final inspections.8.
