Site Manager (Offshore Substation Fabrication)

OverviewDubai, UAE | Onsite – Fabrication Yard • Contract / Long-term assignmentAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Site Manager / Topside Manager to represent the Client / Owner at a fabrication yard responsible for the construction of an offshore substation topside.This is a senior on-site leadership role, focused on supervising contractors, ensuring safe execution, high quality, and on-time delivery of fabrication and assembly activities in a complex offshore environment.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the Owner’s Representative at the fabrication yard and primary interface with contractorsSupervise all fabrication and assembly activities to ensure compliance with: approved schedulestechnical specificationsquality standardsHSE requirementsMonitor contractor resources versus actual progressCoordinate all Client Representatives on siteEnsure proper handling and storage of free-issued materials (FIM)Manage non-conformities (NCs) and punch list itemsPrepare and deliver regular progress, quality, and HSE reportsSupport and participate in key construction and coordination meetingsAssist welding and coating inspection activities when requiredWhat We Are Looking ForRequiredEngineering degree or equivalent technical background5+ years of experience (10+ years preferred) as: Site Manager / Site CoordinatorOwner’s Engineer / Client RepresentativeConstruction Manager (offshore or heavy industry)Strong experience in: offshore topside fabricationsteel structuresfabrication yardsSolid background in quality, HSE, and punch list managementExcellent coordination, reporting, and problem-solving skillsFluent English (spoken and written)Nice to HaveQualified Electrician certification (e.g. DIN VDE 0105-100 or equivalent)Offshore coating / painting experienceFROSIO certificationArabic language skillsGerman language skillsWhy This RoleSenior Owner’s-side position with real decision-making responsibilityLong-term assignment in a major offshore infrastructure environmentInternational project exposureOn-site leadership role in a fabrication yard in Dubai Interested?
