Site -Inspector - Civil

LocationDubai, AE (Primary)Job DescriptionThe Civil Inspector shall work under the direct supervision of Resident Engineer at designated site and perform the supervision of Contractor’s work.This position will provide on-site construction inspection and applicable documentation for construction projects. This includes observation of construction and maintenance work activities for compliance with plans and specifications, preparation of required contract documentation, and following prescribed Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures consistent with Local Agency Guidelines.Duties and ResponsibilitiesExpirienced with Underground structures pump rooms, lagoon retaining walls, modular installations outdoor structures and amenities.Fulfilling tasks of Site Supervision, such as inspect Contractors onsite installation works, support on elaborating design and as well as following up thereof implementation according to specifications and drawings.Review Contractor’s submittal such as method statements, materials / technical submittals, shop drawings, etc. to ensure compliance with Contract Documents.Review all essential contract documents and project-specific plans and monitor contractor compliance.Perform field inspections as required and maintain inspection records.Submit daily site logs to update the team.Monitor and record site progress and keep record of day works of assigned projects.Ensure that the Project HSE and QA/QC requirements are followed.Conduct a final site walk-down and identify major & minor deficiencies for correction actions.Review of Project Closeout Documentation.Perform other project duties as assigned by the management.Job RequirementsBachelor’s degree in civil engineering6 years of post-graduate experience in a similar positionProficiency in MS Office and CADStrong communication skills in English both written and verbal; Arabic will be an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
