And that’s where you come in.Job DescriptionWe are looking for an enthusiastic, self‑motivated professional with solid experience in the rail industry, managing wayside installation design and routing cables along the track and within technical rooms. This position is based in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The role will involve expanding and integrating major signalling technologies with innovative solutions.ResponsibilitiesEnsure the issue of Signalling Engineering System Plans for all project phases and for Signalling integration activities.Ensure the allocation of subsystem Signalling requirements and the Signalling requirements management activities.Ensure that Signalling subsystems interfaces are clearly identified, defined, documented, agreed and managed.Define and monitor the implementation of the Signalling Engineering Migration Strategy, the execution of the Signalling Engineering performance simulation activities and carry out of the Solution Development Roadmap.Ensure the issue of the Signalling System documents—including overall Signalling Architecture and Signalling System Requirements, Signalling System Test & Commissioning for lab and on‑site test documents—on time, on quality, on budget, including the verification activities of the documents related to the technical integration for all the Signalling Subsystems according to the V&V plan.Ensure delivery of proper inputs for development of changes to the existing solutions within standardized templates.Act as the contact point for the project team and customer with regard to the Signalling portion of the project.Ensure the execution of Signalling System tests on site and contribute to executing Signalling System tests in the laboratory; define and manage Signalling System issues lists, ticket creation, analysis, allocation and closure; define the roadmap for closing issues revealed by testing activities.Ensure the execution of gate reviews and the solution of technical issues.Ensure the execution of Gap Analysis, the review of technical Change requests and the follow‑up of the solution development roadmap for suitable software versions with regards to project targets and schedule, integrating development constraints.Participate in Signalling Factory Acceptance tests and Site Acceptance tests for main engineering signalling equipment.Support configuration testing.Why Join UsAt Hitachi Rail, there is a place for everyone.
