Madre Integrated Engineering | Full timeWe are seeking a Shipyard Foreman who will be responsible for supervising dailyshipyard and port-related operations, ensuring maintenance, repair,loading/unloading, and vessel support activities are completed safely,efficiently, and according to operational schedules. The role includes coordinatingwork crews, equipment, and materials while ensuring compliance with portregulations, marine safety standards, and company procedures.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily shipyard and portoperations, including vessel maintenance, repair works, and marinesupport activities.Coordinate with port authorities,vessel crews, and terminal operations for smooth workflow.Plan, assign, and monitor tasks for technicians,welders, riggers, mechanics, and dock workers.Ensure timely completion of shiprepair, maintenance, fabrication, and docking activities.Monitor cargo handling, liftingoperations, and equipment usage within the shipyard area.Supervise and lead shipyard crews andsubcontractors.Conduct daily toolbox talks and safetybriefings.Ensure workers follow operationalinstructions and safety procedures.Monitor worker performance, discipline,and attendance.Oversee the use of cranes, forklifts,lifting equipment, and shipyard machinery.Ensure equipment is inspected andmaintained according to operational requirements.Coordinate with maintenance teams torepair faulty equipment.RequirementsDiploma or technical certification in MarineEngineering, Mechanical Engineering, Shipbuilding, or related field preferred.Minimum 7–10 years of experience inshipyard or port operations.At least 3–5 years in a supervisory orforeman role.Experience in vessel repair, drydocking, cargo operations, or marine maintenance.Port safety training or marine safetycertificationLifting & rigging trainingFirst Aid / HSE certificationAny port authority or marine operationstrainingStrong knowledge of shipyard operationsand port logisticsLeadership and team supervision skillsUnderstanding of marine safetystandards and ship repair processesAbility to coordinate multiple workcrews and tasks simultaneouslyGood communication and problem-solvingskillsAbility to work under tight operationalschedules#J-18808-Ljbffr
