Job Description As a CMDB Asset Management Specialist, your role will involve managing the full lifecycle, accuracy, and integrity of IT asset and configuration data within the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) on the ServiceNow platform. Your responsibilities will include: - Owning and managing the end-to-end lifecycle of Configuration Items (CIs) and IT assets within the ServiceNow CMDB, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and consistency. - Collaborating with ServiceNow developers, solution architects, and integration teams to ensure seamless data flow between CMDB, discovery tools, and external systems. - Monitoring, analyzing, and reporting on CMDB health metrics and leading remediation efforts where gaps are identified. - Supporting ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and integrations to ensure accurate and automated population of CI and asset data. - Ensuring CMDB processes and data support audit, risk, security, and regulatory requirements.
