Senior Urban Planning Strategy Engineer

<ul><li>Submit reports on the progress of the committees and working teams under the supervision of the<strong>Higher Committee for Urban Planning</strong></li><li>Support the<strong>implementation of the Dubai Urban Plan 2040</strong>with the relevant authorities and analyze the progress of work and submit periodic performance reports</li><li><strong>Providing technical advice on investor requests</strong>received by the Higher Committee for Urban Planning and reviewing recommendations thereon in preparation for their adjudication</li><li>Review<strong>Urban planning legislation</strong>in coordination with stakeholders and proposing a mechanism for governance and monitoring its implementation and submitting periodic reports</li><li><strong>Evaluating the outputs of projects and initiatives</strong>related to urban planning and submitting periodic reports on their progress and the necessary recommendations</li><li>Providing the<strong>necessary support to process requests received</strong>by the Grievance Committee for Urban Planning in coordination with the relevant authorities and committees</li><li>Analysing the<strong>outputs related to development plans, strategies and policies</strong>and preparing related reports, as necessary</li><li>Reviewing the<strong>publications of the website and all social media channels</strong>of the Department of Infrastructure Affairs and Urban Planning and files, initiatives and urban planning projects</li><li>Reviewing the requirements for preparing the content of the meetings of the Higher Committee<strong>for Urban Planning and related committees</strong>, by preparing the speech, reviewing summaries, and reviewing the content of technical presentations</li><li>Following<strong>up on the implementation of the plan and the main strategic objectives of the urban plan</strong>and the relevant performance indicators, projects and initiatives related to the Higher Committee for Urban Planning, and submitting related reports</li><li>Ensure the availability<strong>and accuracy of all documents required for the meetings of His Excellency related to urban planning, including agendas, relevant documents,</strong>and work on developing strategic communication management plans with partners or stakeholders</li><li>Work on analyzing<strong>the outputs and searching for opportunities for improvement and development and submitting</strong>relevant reports to the Director of the Department regarding strategic developments related to urban planning and related technical matters to support decision-making</li><li>Provide<strong>specialized advice to stakeholders</strong>and assist in analysing and reviewing all reports related to the department, including technical reports related to urban planning</li><li>Follow up on the implementation of<strong>recommendations/observations and instructions issued by the Higher Committee for Urban Plannin</strong>g and submitting related reports</li><li>Preparing<strong>periodic reports on innovative results, analyses and modern technologies</strong>related to the field of urban planning and presenting them for approval by senior management.</li></ul><p><strong>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE</strong></p><p><strong>Education</strong></p><ul><li>bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Urban Planning or related fields 11 years of working experience</li><li>Certified Project Management Professional (PMP)</li></ul><p><strong>Skills</strong></p><ul><li>High degree of<strong>analytical thinking</strong>and demonstrated talent in identifying, examining, improving<strong>and simplifying</strong>multiple work procedures</li><li>Advanced<strong>level of computer use</strong>with great proficiency in multiple programs covering a wide range of applications</li><li><strong>Excellent listener with the ability to communicate</strong>and convey information effectively, whether verbally or in writing</li><li><strong>Effective team member, intelligent</strong>, and able to enhance trust in relationships with clients and team members</li><li><strong>Adaptable team member to a work environment</strong>that requires the ability to effectively prioritize and coordinate concurrent projects</li><li><strong>Innovative in solving problems</strong>, able to find implementable solutions and resolve complaints</li><li><strong>Leader, focused on goals,</strong>keen on a climate of productivity, and has the confidence to motivate, prepare and train employees to achieve high standards of performance</li><li><strong>Focused on achievements and results</strong>, possesses great planning and organizational skills</li></ul>#J-18808-Ljbffr
