We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Transportation Planner/Road Safety Auditor to join our team in Abu Dhabi United Arab this critical role you will lead transportation planning initiatives and conduct comprehensive road safety audits to enhance the safety and efficiency of our transportation infrastructure.Develop and manage complex transportation planning projects for urban and regional areasConduct thorough road safety audits at various stages of project developmentAnalyze traffic patterns and propose innovative solutions to optimize traffic flowCreate and maintain transportation models using specialized softwareCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate safety considerations into project designsPrepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and government agenciesMentor junior staff and provide technical guidance on transportation planning and road safetyStay current with international best practices in transportation planning and road safetyEnsure compliance with local and international transportation standards and regulationsQualifications : Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering Transportation Engineering or a related field; Masters degree preferredProfessional Engineer (PE) certificationRoad Safety Audit certificationMinimum 710 years of experience in transportation planning and road safetyProven expertise in using transportation planning software (e.g. TransCAD Vissim) and GIS softwareStrong knowledge of road safety audit techniques and methodologiesProficiency in traffic modeling simulation and analysisDemonstrated experience in urban and regional transportation projectsExcellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong analytical and problemsolving skills with meticulous attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishAbility to work effectively in a multicultural environmentWillingness to travel within the UAE and potentially internationally for projectrelated workAdditional Information : About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
