Senior Transportation Engineer/Planner

Urban Street DesignService category includes the design of typical roadway, design of pavement, curb, gutter, sidewalks, drainage improvements and reconstruction within developed areas. Selected consultants shall provide all engineering services for the preparation of plans, specifications, transportation planning in urban and rural areas, and bid documents.Rehabilitation DesignSecondee should have experience in all engineering services for the testing and evaluation of existing pavement sections; all engineering services for the preparation of plans, specifications and bid documents. Roadway rehabilitation projects may involve some minor structures and minimal right‑of‑way engineering.Railway EngineeringSecondee should have experience in all engineering services to support railway engineering projects, long‑distance rail projects and metro stations. Services will include but not limited to preliminary railway investigation, desk study, review of railway design, selecting the optimal alternative alignments and utility conflict resolution.Traffic EngineeringProvide traffic studies and engineering solutions for traffic problems. Ability to work at the network level and project level. Traffic analysis and modeling for different levels of project sizes. Secondee should have experience in all transportation modeling techniques.Minimum of 15 years of transportation /planning, traffic, highway design experience. Knowledge in Transportation Management Systems and programs such as: Trans CAD, Vissim, SUMO, Invarion.
