Senior Transport Planner&Strategic Mobility Lead

<p>We are seeking a Transportation Planner to support the development and continuous update of Dubai’s strategic transportation plans. The role focuses on conducting strategic and specialized transport studies, prioritizing and budgeting transportation projects, and benchmarking international best practices to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and future readiness of Dubai's transport system.</p><p>Selected candidates will be assigned to<strong>one of two specialized focus areas</strong>based on experience and organizational needs:</p><p>Responsible for monitoring transportation system performance, reviewing and aligning external studies (such as master plans and Traffic Impact Assessments), and preparing technical reports and presentations. The role includes identifying innovative and sustainable mobility trends through future foresight, coordinating closely with relevant authorities and stakeholders, preparing terms of reference, and overseeing the implementation of technical studies, while ensuring compliance with RTA information security policies.</p><p>Responsible for leading the development and review of transport and mobility policies, ensuring alignment with national and emirate-level strategies and regulatory frameworks. The role includes conducting technical, economic, and impact assessments, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, preparing policy documents and supporting materials, and contributing to strategic transport planning initiatives. Responsibilities also include monitoring policy implementation, evaluating effectiveness, recommending improvements, and ensuring compliance with approved governance and information security requirements.</p><p><strong>Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>3+ Years in case of Ph.D (5+Years in case of Master’s degree, 8+ years in case of Bachelor’s degree, qualifications in:<strong>Civil/ Transport/Traffic Engineering or Urban/ Transport Planning</strong></li></ul><p>Candidates should have strong experience in transport planning, transport and infrastructure studies, project management, technical reporting, and transport modelling tools, with a clear focus on sustainability and strategic outcomes.
