Senior TM Uptake Management Lead — Dubai (Hybrid)

<p>The Senior Manager TM Uptake Management will report to Director TM Uptake Management.<br><ul><li>Leading and managing the team in TM Uptake Management Middle East, based in Dubai.</li><li>Responsible for optimization of vessel/voyage utilization on designated services and trades based on commercial guidelines.</li><li>Maintain close collaboration and cooperation with Regional Commercial, Regional Operations, Area Commercial Steering, Customer Service / GCC and Cargo Operations.</li><li>Analyse optimization potential and costs and work on proposals together with TM Pricing&Steering.</li><li><p>Ensure adherence to global processes and guidelines within the team .</p></li><li><p>Regular exchange with other team leads on best practices and expertise.</p></li><li><p>Regular evaluation of system and process knowledge of the team members, coordination of training requirements with the Director TM Uptake Management.</p></li><li><p>Initiate FIS Allocation Management development needs, participate in projects and roll-out.</p></li><li><p>Organize working time requirements and workload in the teams and appropriate distribution of services, as well as back-up or replacement arrangements.</p></li><li><p>Alignment on team relevant topics with all stakeholders.</p></li><li><p>Point of entry for general trade related issues.</p></li></ul><strong>Qualifications</strong><ul><li><p>Degree in Shipping, Transportation or related discipline.</p></li><li><p>Several years of experience in liner shipping/ transportation industry.</p></li><li><p>Operational background and Commercial Steering experience welcome.</p></li><li><p>Comprehensive knowledge about HL applications (FIS, Qlikview, Qliksense).</p></li><li><p>Analytical, methodical and efficient working style.</p></li><li><p>Open minded personality with strong communication skills.</p></li><li><p>Experience in dealing with different stakeholder groups.</p></li><li><p>Team player with high ability to communicate.</p></li><li><p>Ability to lead a team and to implement new concepts and structures.</p></li><li><p>Knowledge about Hapag-Lloyd’s global product offering (Network&Partners).</p></li><li><p>Excellent and proficient command of spoken and written English language.</p></li></ul><strong>We offer</strong>We offer:<br>- Tax free salary&bonus payments<br>- 30 working days of annual leave<br>- Flexible working hours and hybrid work model<br>- Medical insurance for employee&eligible dependants (spouse&children)<br>- A diverse and multi-cultural working environment<strong>About Us</strong>With a fleet of 313 modern container ships and a total transport capacity of 2.5 million TEU, Hapag-Lloyd is one of the world’s leading liner shipping companies.
