With a commitment to quality and innovation, we have established ourselves as a trusted name in the industry.Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Technician to join our team in the RM 5 Mechanical Shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our rolling mill and maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate and maintain the rolling mill equipment, including but not limited to, reheating furnace, rolling stands, cooling bed, and finishing equipmentMonitor and control the production process to ensure quality standards are metTroubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues that may arise during productionConduct regular maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performanceCollaborate with other team members to identify and implement process improvementsTrain and mentor junior technicians on equipment operation and maintenanceAdhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environmentKeep accurate records of production and maintenance activitiesRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent, technical degree preferredMinimum of 5 years of experience working in a steel company, specifically in a bar and wire rod mill rolling millStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsExperience operating and maintaining rolling mill equipmentKnowledge of safety protocols and regulations in a manufacturing environmentAbility to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environmentExcellent communication and teamwork skillsFlexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekendsWe offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for career growth and development.
