About the jobSenior Technician Planning & Scheduling (Aviation MRO) – Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesWe are seeking a Senior Technician to support planning, scheduling and coordination activities within an aviation MRO environment. The role involves preparing and updating work plans, consolidating production data, monitoring schedule adherence, coordinating induction readiness, and supporting documentation accuracy to ensure smooth engine build and induction processes.Key ResponsibilitiesPlanning Support and Documentation (25%)Assist with preparing and updating engine induction and build schedulesMaintain schedule trackers, milestone charts and planning documentationCoordinate with engineering teams to ensure availability of up-to-date documentsData Collection and Reporting (20%)Collect and consolidate production progress data and work-in-progress (WIP) updatesAssist in preparing daily, weekly and monthly schedule adherence and capacity utilisation reportsScheduling Coordination (15%)Coordinate internal meetings for milestone reviews, kit readiness and induction planningFollow up with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with scheduling targetsSystem Updates and Monitoring (15%)Update planning systems with schedule information, progress updates and induction forecastsTrack schedule variances and highlight potential delays for engineering reviewInduction and Readiness Support (15%)Confirm readiness of tooling, material kits and work instructions for inductionLiaise with warehouse and material control teams to ensure timely kit availabilityQuality and Process Compliance (10%)Ensure planning documents comply with internal procedures and quality standardsMaintain accurate logs and documentation for audit readinessAssociate, vocational or technical qualification in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, MRO, or a related fieldCertification in task or production planning/scheduling tools preferredD2 authorisation in relevant processes or equivalent (desirable)Minimum 3 years of experience in a technical or production planning support roleFamiliarity with engine MRO processesBasic understanding of scheduling principles and coordination across departmentsAbility to maintain trackers and prepare planning reportsStrong attention to detail when handling scheduling and production dataEffective teamwork with engineers, technicians and production personnelClear written and verbal communication across functionsStrong time-management skills and ability to meet deadlinesProficiency in MS Excel, MS Word and planning systems (e.g., MS Project or internal MRO planning tools)Adaptability to production schedule changes and quick-turn activitiesProblem-solving skills to identify bottlenecks or discrepanciesCommitment to accurate documentation and MRO quality standardsTax-free salary packageRelocation support providedAdditional benefits shared with shortlisted candidates#J-18808-Ljbffr
