About the job Senior Technician Engine Inspection (MRO)We are seeking a skilled Senior Technician with strong engine inspection and mechanical experience to support aero engine MRO activities in a regulated maintenance environment. The role involves carrying out inspection, disassembly, assembly, and documentation tasks in line with approved technical data, regulatory expectations, and safety standards.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform engine disassembly, assembly, and inspection activities according to approved technical documentationFollow work instructions, route cards, and engineering drawings; escalate discrepancies when identifiedComplete assigned tasks aligned with production schedules and quality requirementsDemonstrate integrity, professionalism, and safe working practices at all timesParticipate in team briefings, toolbox talks, and safety discussionsReport non-conformances or unsafe practices promptlyProvide basic guidance to junior technicians under supervisionEnsure tools and equipment are used correctly; identify shortages or malfunctionsSupport workplace organisation and housekeeping standardsEnsure tasks are completed within expected timelines and quality requirementsMaintain accurate records in digital systems such as SAP or Q-PulseSupport compliance with quality management systems and participate in audits or investigations when requiredAssociate, vocational, or technical qualification in Aviation, Aeronautical Engineering, MRO, or a related fieldD2 level authorisation or equivalent certificationMinimum of 3 years experience in technical aviation or MROStrong understanding of aero engine visual and dimensional inspection methodsProficiency using digital systems (e.g., SAP, Q-Pulse) for inspection data entry and traceabilityStrong adherence to quality, regulatory, and HS&E requirementsEffective communication and teamwork skillsAbility to support juniors by reinforcing standard proceduresConsistent application of documentation and inspection protocolsAbility to recognise defects, deviations, and irregularities and escalate appropriatelyStrong time management and ability to work within turnaround timelinesAbility to adapt to schedule changes, new procedures, and work conditionsHigh attention to detail and accuracy to ensure airworthiness and complianceTax-free salary packageRelocation support providedAdditional benefits shared with shortlisted candidates#J-18808-Ljbffr
