Senior Technical Writer

<div><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Collaborate with Delivery, Development, and Application Support teams to gather detailed functional and non-functional requirements.</li><li>Author and maintain Software Requirements Specification (SRS) documents for systems being handed over post go-live.</li><li>Develop standardized handover documentation templates and checklists.</li><li>Ensure that all handover deliverables include architecture overviews, configurations, support scenarios, workflows, and known issues.</li><li>Translate technical specifications, user stories, and configurations into clear, structured documentation.</li><li>Conduct interviews with SMEs and stakeholders to gather undocumented knowledge relevant to support.</li><li>Review existing documentation and align with QMS and ITSM standards.</li><li>Ensure documentation adheres to audit, compliance, and traceability requirements.</li><li>Support periodic reviews and updates of documentation to reflect system changes or new releases.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technical Communication, or related field.</li><li>Exceptional writing and organizational skills.</li><li>Strong understanding of software delivery lifecycle and production support environments.</li></ul><h3>Experience</h3><ul><li>5+ years as a Technical Writer in IT, software, or enterprise environments.</li><li>Proven experience developing SRS or technical handover documents.</li><li>Background in working within Agile, DevOps, or Waterfall delivery models.</li></ul><h3>Technical Skills</h3><ul><li>Proficient in Microsoft Word, Confluence, JIRA, or documentation management systems.</li><li>Familiarity with SRS, BRD, and technical design documentation standards.</li><li>Experience with diagramming tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.</li><li>Understanding of APIs, software architecture, and infrastructure basics.</li></ul><h3>Leadership Skills</h3><ul><li>Ability to take ownership of the handover documentation lifecycle.</li><li>Collaborate across departments to enforce standards and drive process improvement.</li><li>Mentor project teams on documentation expectations and SRS structure.</li></ul><h3>Preferred Certifications</h3><ul><li>Certified Technical Writer (e.g., CPTC by STC)</li><li>ITIL Foundation (for understanding support environments)</li><li>ISO 9001 Awareness or CMMI knowledge is a plus</li></ul><h3>Key Competencies</h3><ul><li>Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.</li><li>Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.</li><li>Analytical mindset with the ability to connect business needs to technical solutions.</li><li>Proactive and self-driven with a commitment to quality.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
