Job Title : Senior Technical Support Engineer - LinuxJob Purpose :Manage Linux SystemsCertification :CompTIA Linux+Docker Certified AssociateRed Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)Certified OpenStack Administrator (COA)Experience :6+Responsibilities :Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and workstations.Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions.Perform system updates, patch management, and package installations.Monitor system performance, resource utilization, and log files.Diagnose and resolve performance issues.Optimize system performance through tuning and configuration adjustments.Manage file systems, partitions, and disk storage.Implement and maintain backup and recovery solutions.Configure and manage network services, such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and LDAP.Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.Implement security measures, including firewall configurations and access controls.Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments.Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.Develop and maintain shell scripts and automation tools for routine tasks.Automate system monitoring and reporting.Investigate and resolve system and application issues.Provide technical support to end-users and elevate complex problems when necessary.Configure and manage virtualization technologies, such as KVM, VMware, or Xen.Create and maintain virtual machines.Collaborate with other IT teams and share knowledge with colleagues.Maintain documentation of system configurations, procedures, and best practices.Develop and test disaster recovery plans.Ensure data backup and recovery processes are effective and up-to-date.Mandatory :Redhat or similar Linux Server ManagementDNS, NTP, DHCPVMWare ESXi ManagementDocker Management#J-18808-Ljbffr
