Senior Technical Engineer HPE Servers & Storage

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDES TASKS AND AUTHORITIES):The candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience working with (HPE) Server and Storage technologies with proven expertise in:1. HPE Synergy Blade Server DeploymentHands on experience in deployment of HPE Synergy composable infrastructure including Frame Link Modules (FLM) Composer/OneView and Virtual Connect modules.Configure server profiles templates network fabrics and firmware baselines.Integrate Synergy with VMware and storage backends (3PAR All eTra).Perform health monitoring firmware upgrades and scalability planning.2. HPE Storage Deployment (3PAR / MSA / Alletra)Hands on experience in implementation of block and file storage solutions using HPE 3PAR MSA and Alletra arrays.Configure Storage Virtual Volumes (VV) CPGs Remote Copy Replication Thin Provisioning and Adaptive Optimization.Integrate storage with VMware ESXi Veeam and backup solutions.Perform zoning and multipathing validation on connected SAN fabrics.3. HPE SAN Switches & Fabric ManagementDeploy and manage HPE/Brocade/FC SAN Switches including zoning ISL trunking and port configurations.Ensure SAN redundancy and high availability for production clusters.Monitor performance apply firmware updates and manage SAN fabric expansion.4. HPE Tape LibraryInstall and configure HPE MSL Tape Libraries for backup and archival operations.Integrate with backup tools via FC/iSCSI connectivity.Define backup jobs retention policies and test restore operations.5. Veeam Backup & ReplicationDesign deploy and configure Veeam Backup & Replication infrastructure for VMware environments.Manage backup repositories proxies SOBR (Scale-Out Backup Repository) and tape-out workflows.Implement backup encryption immutability and SureBackup testing.Perform DR replication and restore testing to validate RTO/RPO compliance.6. VMware vCenter & Virtualization DeploymentDeploy and configure vCenter Server Appliance (VCSA) and ESXi hosts.Configure clusters DRS HA vMotion and storage policies.Integrate VMware with HPE OneView 3PAR and Veeam.Perform lifecycle management patching and resource optimization.The role involves solution implementation migration performance optimization and lifecycle management across HPE datacenter environments.Experience in Planning conducting and supporting ESXi version upgrades and migrations from legacy system to latest version.In-depth capability and understanding of Datacenter and Virtualization technologies and their application.Experience in analyzing Client infrastructure to ensure that the infrastructure is ready for the Datacenter and Virtualization.Ability to create technical design documents and work with Project Managers and Technical managers in implementing project / BAU work.Ability to handle the project alone and detail the project technical task with customer.Should have strong implementation experience in implementation backup solutions in Comm​vault and Veeam.Good knowledge and Understanding of Tape Backup and disk backup Tape libraries.Develop project document update internal documentation and configuration items.Implement approved technology changes for clients following our standards and best practices.Keep the environment by updating the system on periodic basis.Proactive in resolving support requests escalated from services delivery team.Ability to work independently and be an example to fellow team members.Willing to work on flexible schedule depending on business need.HPE MASE certification is added advantage.Having cross operating system knowledge and experience in both Linux and Windows is added advantage.Technical SME for the technologies listed below in the Competency table.Critical customer incidents/breakdowns troubleshooting them within the agreed service levels for self and team.Execute Health Check services and closure along with the team for AMC customers.CERTIFICATIONS:HPE-MASE- Edge to Cloud or StorageHPE-ASEHPE-ATPVMware-VCPTECHNICAL SKILLS / COMPETENCIES:MANDATORYStrong Working Knowledge on below Technologies:HPE Synergy L3HPE Storage -L3Enterprise Backup Solutions (Commvault Veeam and Networker) L2VMware-L2Competency LevelsHPE Greenlake Synergy and Storage L3VMware L2Windows Server Operating Systems (Enterprise) L2HCI - Dell Servers (VxRail) L2Storage (Dell EMC / Data Domain / HP/PureStorage) L2SOFT SKILLS:MANDATORYStrong written and verbal communication and analytical skillsAbility to multi-task prioritize multiple objectives initiatives and requests.High Degree of PerseveranceVery good Customer handling SkillsCan do attitudeOpen to learn new technologiesRequired Experience:Senior IC#J-18808-Ljbffr
