Job Description
Job Description As a member of the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Technology team at Franklin Templeton, you will play a crucial role in building and operating the companys Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) and reporting platforms. Your responsibilities will include platform ownership, FP&A enablement, data and integration management, stakeholder partnership, controls, governance, and reliability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Administer, configure, and enhance FP&A/EPM platforms, including security, metadata, hierarchies, models, versions, and validations.
- Design and maintain planning and forecasting models within Adaptive Planning for various functions.
- Develop and maintain reporting systems such as Oracle Essbase and Power BI for business intelligence dashboarding.
- Build and support dashboards and management reports using Workday Office Connect and Oracle Smart View.
- Administer Business Intelligence platforms, primarily Power BI, ensuring user access, security, and platform maintenance.
- Partner with Finance and Technology teams to resolve data, application, and infrastructure issues.
- Identify opportunities to simplify, automate, or standardize FP&A processes through system enhancements or improved reporting and analytics.
- Manage inbound/outbound integrations into FP&A systems and ensure data completeness and reconciliation.
- Work within an Agile delivery model, contributing to backlog prioritization and sprint execution.
- Translate business requirements into scalable system solutions and lead problem definition and solution design for complex FP&A use cases.
- Design and operate FP&A technology solutions in alignment with controls and governance requirements.
- Support financial close, forecast, and budget cycles with high system availability and performance.
- Maintain documentation, SOPs, and training materials to support global users.
- Diagnose data quality, performance, or process issues within FP&A platforms and drive resolution.
**Experience, Education & Certifications:**
- 710 years in financial systems, FP&A technology, or EPM.
- Strong partnership with Corporate Finance and FP&A teams.
- Agile or iterative delivery experience.
- Industry background in asset or wealth management preferred.
- Certifications such as CA, CMA, CFA, MBA, or EPM vendor.
**Technical Skills:**
- Workday Adaptive Planning or comparable EPM tools.
- Financial consolidation, cost allocation, and profitability modeling.
- Power BI administration, data modeling, and dashboard design.
- Oracle Essbase, Tableau, and SQL proficiency.
- AI fluency with Copilot and workflow agents.
- Workday Financials, ERP, HR systems, and SOX/ITGC familiarity.
