About the job Senior Strategy Manager - M&AJob SummaryProvide strategic, functional, operational support to the department by taking a specific, identified (leadership) role for agreed projects.ResponsibilitiesDefine and oversee the structure and implementation of strategic initiatives, developing detailed work plans, collecting and analyzing relevant data, and formulating actionable recommendationsCollaborate with key business partners to facilitate comprehensive planning processes, ensuring alignment with sound business recommendations and corporate strategyCreate and coordinate plans for BUs, departments, segments, countries, and subsidiaries, ensuring they align with and support the overall corporate strategic directionAssist in Merger & Acquisition projects (primarily operational and commercial DD)Build forecasts and analytical models to provide insights into future scenarios, enabling proactive decision-making and strategic adjustmentsConduct thorough analysis of competitors, focusing on technical, production, manufacturing, and construction capabilities to identify potential threatsPerform competitive analyses to uncover gaps and opportunities in the marketplace, guiding strategic growth initiativesSelect and apply appropriate frameworks, tools, and methodologies to effectively tackle strategic challengesLeverage expertise in areas such as business model development, financial modeling, product portfolio planning, organizational strategy, channel strategies, and customer/market researchEnsure all activities comply with company policies, the Policy of Integrity & Code of Conduct, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standardsRequired Qualifications & ExperienceBachelors Degree minimum (Masters Degree is an advantage)Minimum of 12 years of experience in the consulting industry, of which at least 5 years in equivalent roles.International exposure is an added valueExperience in Dredging, Energy, Oil & Gas industry is an advantageExcellent and proven analytical skillsStrong attention to detailStrong communication and organizational skillsWritten and spoken English skillsDemonstrated ability to define, analyze, research, and communicate issuesAbility to handle multiple projects and tasks, and to prioritize tasks, in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated abilities as a critical and strategic thinkerProficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and advanced Excel skills, including experience with complex financial spreadsheetsAbility to work with Company's Executive managementMust be a self-starterAbility to work independently and as a part of a teamKnowledge of:Strategic thinkingM&AProject ManagementTransformation programPost-merger-integration process#J-18808-Ljbffr
