Senior Strategic Transport&Land-Use Analyst

With a decade of experience in the region and a team that possesses extensive knowledge of the market, we provide a fully integrated HR solution.</p><p>We are currently recruiting an<strong>Senior Analyst - Transport&Land Use</strong>for our client based in Dubai, UAE for a Period of<strong>8 Months.</strong></p><p><strong>Job Summary:</strong></p><p>The Senior Analyst - Transport&Land Use provides analytical, planning, and technical support to transport capacity planning and land-use development initiatives. The role contributes to the creation of transport capacity concepts, land-use strategies, and operational layouts that enable safe, efficient, and integrated movement of people and vehicles across both airside and landside environments.</p><p><strong>Job Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>1. Capacity Planning&Demand Analysis:</strong></p><ul><li>Support capacity planning by translating traffic forecasts and service-level targets into phased infrastructure and capacity requirements.</li><li>Analyse operational performance data to establish baselines and support capacity modelling.</li><li>Contribute analytical inputs to Strategic Briefs and business cases for master plans.</li></ul><p><strong>2. Concept Development&Impact Assessment:</strong></p><ul><li>Assess the operational impact of proposed changes, capacity enhancements, and constraints.</li><li>Support development of concept layouts and Concepts of Operations (ConOps).</li><li>Assist in reviewing internal and external proposals, logistics plans, and infrastructure schemes.</li></ul><p><strong>3. Airport Land Use Planning Support:</strong></p><ul><li>Capture, analyse, and prioritise land-use requirements aligned with capacity and operational needs.</li><li>Support validation of User Requirement Specifications (URS).</li><li>Contribute to maintaining and updating Airport Land Use Plans and associated spatial databases.</li></ul><p><strong>4. Service Proposition&Stakeholder Collaboration:</strong></p><ul><li>Work with internal stakeholders to define service propositions informing capacity and master planning.</li><li>Analyse planning assumptions to ensure alignment with operational objectives and standards.</li></ul><p><strong>Qualifications&Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.</li><li>5-7 years total experience, with 3-5 years in transport planning, traffic engineering, land-use development, or relevant infrastructure roles.</li><li>Experience in airport, transport planning, or major infrastructure environments preferred.</li><li>Working knowledge of AutoCAD, AutoTURN, MicroStation, and ArcGIS.</li><li>Certifications in logistics, supply chain, or safety compliance are advantageous.</li><li>Strong experience in traffic engineering, transport planning, or road infrastructure design.</li><li>Ability to read and develop architectural and transport layouts using AutoCAD.</li><li>Exposure to modelling tools such as VISUM, VISSIM, or SIDRA is an advantage.</li><li>Ability to analyse operational and capacity performance data.</li><li>Strong communication, organisation, and independent working skills.</li><li>Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary project teams.</li></ul>#J-18808-Ljbffr
