ADVANCED CONCEPTS is fast-tracking the development of high-technology autonomous systems, including three Medium Endurance, High Altitude, fixed-wing unmanned aerial systems, a family of precision loitering munitions, a cost-effective family of cruise missiles, and a range of guided artillery munitions.</p><ul><li>Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, and resource plans.</li><li>Lead the execution of technical projects from concept to completion.</li><li>Manage cross-functional teams, ensuring tasks are aligned and progress is on track.</li><li>Mentor and guide engineers and project staff to meet technical and schedule goals.</li><li>Serve as the main point of contact between engineering, clients, suppliers, and management.</li><li>Ensure clear communication of expectations, progress, and changes.</li><li>Identify risks early and implement mitigation plans.</li><li>Address technical and project-related issues proactively.</li><li>Monitor project budgets, resource allocation, and cost control.</li><li>Report deviations and take corrective actions when needed.</li><li>Ensure technical quality and compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.</li><li>Oversee critical reviews, validation activities, and integration efforts.</li><li>Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and status reports.</li><li>Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.</li><li>Capture lessons learned and implement process improvements for future projects.</li><li>Provide guidance, clarify requirements, and help remove technical blockers.</li><li>Ensure engineers have the tools, resources, and support needed to deliver quality work.</li><li>Facilitate coordination between engineering, procurement, production, and quality teams.</li><li>Ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and deliverables.</li><li>Translate technical progress into clear updates for stakeholders and clients.</li><li>Ensure feedback loops are maintained across all involved parties.</li><li>Gather inputs, assess risks, and present data to guide informed project decisions.</li><li>Escalate critical issues promptly with actionable insights.</li></ul><h3>Education / Experience</h3><ul><li>Minimum Requirement Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, Systems), or a related technical field.</li><li>Preferred: Master’s Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Systems Engineering, or a related field.</li><li>Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile/Scrum are highly valued. Coursework or credentials in business, risk management, or engineering management are beneficial.</li><li>Minimum Experience 7+ years managing technical projects or leading engineering workstreams.</li><li>Must have solid understanding of the relevant industry (e.g., aerospace, defense, automotive) and its engineering practices.</li><li>Knowledge of project lifecycle phases: design, development, testing, production, and delivery</li><li>Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., ISO, ASME, MIL-STD, FAA, or other sector-specific regulations)</li><li>Competency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical specifications, and documentation</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
