Senior Specialist –Integration Applications (Boomi)

This role is primarily responsible for designing, managing, and supporting enterprise system integrations across business applications. The role focuses on enabling seamless data exchange between ERP systems, third-party applications, and internal platforms through integration technologies such as middleware platforms (e.g., Boomi), APIs, and automation tools.The role acts as a liaison between business stakeholders, ERP functional teams, and development teams to gather requirements, design integration workflows, and oversee implementation. The candidate will be responsible for supporting and managing the integration platform, monitoring interface performance, and ensuring reliable and scalable integration solutions.The role also supports ERP-related initiatives by ensuring efficient integration with surrounding systems. Knowledge of automation and RPA tools will be highly beneficial, particularly in identifying opportunities to automate system interactions and business processes.KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESIntegration Design & ManagementDesign, document, and manage integrations between ERP systems and other enterprise applications using middleware platforms such as Boomi.Develop integration workflows, interface specifications, and data mappings to enable seamless data exchange between systems.Conceptualize and document end-to-end data flows across applications to ensure scalability, reliability, and data integrity.Monitor and maintain system interfaces to ensure stable integration performance and timely resolution of failures.Integration ProjectsSupport implementation of new integrations as part of enterprise application projects and digital initiatives.Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into integration specifications and technical workflows.Coordinate with internal development teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery of integration components.Conduct system and interface testing to validate integration functionality before deployment.ERP Integration SupportWork closely with ERP functional teams to ensure successful integration of ERP modules with external applications.Support ERP-related projects by enabling smooth connectivity between ERP and other enterprise systems.Assist in troubleshooting integration issues impacting ERP processes.Coordinate with third‑party vendors for integration development, enhancements, and troubleshooting.Ensure integration deliverables meet business requirements and technical standards.Documentation & Knowledge ManagementPrepare detailed documentation for integrations, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and interface specifications.Maintain knowledge base documents outlining system integrations and dependencies.Provide user documentation and support training for new integration‑enabled processes.Monitoring & SupportMonitor integration performance and troubleshoot interface issues across integrated systems.Provide support for integration‑related incidents and coordinate resolution with vendors and internal teams.Prepare reports on integration performance, system issues, and improvement opportunities.Identify opportunities to improve integration architecture and enhance interoperability across enterprise systems.EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field5–7 years of experience in enterprise application integration, middleware platforms, or enterprise applications support.SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE & ABILITIESJob SpecificExperience with integration platforms such as BoomiUnderstanding of API‑based integrations and enterprise integration patternsExperience integrating ERP systems with other enterprise applications; Experience with Oracle preferredKnowledge of data mapping, data transformation, and workflow designUnderstanding of system architecture and application interoperabilityExperience with automation or RPA tools is highly advantageousExperience with SQL and data analysisStrong documentation skills for integration workflows and architecture diagramsGeneric SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsAbility to translate business requirements into technical integration solutionsStrong analytical and problem‑solving skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively across teamsStrong coordination skills with vendors and internal teamsWork Location: AKI - Dubai Industrial City (DIC)#J-18808-Ljbffr
