Job Description
Job Description You will be joining TMF Group, a global provider of administrative services with over 11,000 colleagues in 125 offices across 87 jurisdictions. As the Senior Specialist Accounting & Tax, your role will involve managing accounting operations, tax compliance, and financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include:
- **Accounting & Reporting**
- Managing day-to-day accounting activities to ensure accuracy of financial records.
- Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Supporting internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation.
- **Taxation**
- Handling compliance for direct tax (income tax, corporate tax) and indirect tax (GST, TDS, etc.).
- Preparing and reviewing tax returns, ensuring timely filing and payment.
- Keeping updated on changes in tax laws and sharing relevant updates with the team.
- **Compliance & Controls**
- Ensuring adherence to statutory requirements and internal policies.
- Maintaining proper documentation for tax assessments and audits.
- Supporting the implementation of effective internal controls.
- **Stakeholder Coordination**
- Liaising with external consultants, auditors, and tax authorities as required.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve financial queries.
**Key Requirements:**
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
- Professional certification (CA Inter, CMA Inter, or equivalent) preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in accounting and taxation roles.
- Strong knowledge of Indian tax laws (Income Tax Act, GST regulations).
- Proficiency in accounting software (SAP, Tally, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
