Senior Solutions Architect - Imaging

Job Description As a Senior Solutions Architect at CitiusTech, you will be part of an Agile team responsible for designing and building healthcare applications while adhering to the best coding development standards. Your role will involve providing architectural leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience in designing compliant, scalable, and secure solutions for healthcare and life sciences environments. Responsibilities: - Lead architecture and design of digital pathology solutions, including imaging pipelines, viewers, workflow engines, and integration layers. - Collaborate with pathologists, product teams, developers, and enterprise architects to design end-to-end workflows. - Define strategies for DICOM WSI storage, archival, retrieval, performance optimization, and system scalability. - Guide engineering teams on best practices for viewer capabilities such as zoom/pan, annotations, heatmaps, and high-resolution rendering. - Provide architectural oversight for LIS integration, case management, worklists, and workflow automation. - Review solution designs, conduct technical assessments, and ensure adherence to healthcare compliance and standards. Experience: - 12 - 18 Years Location: - Mumbai - Pune - Bangalore - Chennai Educational Qualifications: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/Information Technology/Biomedical Engineering or a related field Skills: Mandatory Technical Skills: - Hands-on experience in Pathology domain, digital pathology solution development, workflow design, and end-to-end system understanding. - Strong expertise in enterprise imaging, pathology data standards, LIS integration, and DICOM WSI. - Ability to architect scalable, interoperable, and secure digital pathology platforms involving viewers, archives, scanners, and workflow systems. Good-to-Have Skills: - Experience with Java for backend solutioning - Experience with Angular for UI frameworks - Exposure to PACS/VNA, image routing, cloud-hosted imaging, and healthcare interoperability standards (DICOM, HL7, FHIR) Professional Experience: - Mentored engineering teams in Java and Angular solution design principles, coding best practices, modular architecture, and integration patterns. - Ensured compliance with healthcare standards and enterprise security policies while driving performance, scalability, and interoperability improvements. - Acted as the primary architectural decision-maker across multiple digital pathology projects, producing architecture diagrams, integration blueprints, and technical specifications. Leadership & Communication: - Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with a track record of mentoring teams and leading cross-functional collaboration. - Strong problem-solving abilities and an analytical mindset, with a focus on delivering value to the business. - Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts.
