Job Description You have been looking for a Software Test Automation Engineer with 6 to 10 years of experience. In this role, you will work independently with minimal guidance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize and adopt technology and automation best practices. You will need to understand key business drivers, build knowledge of the company, processes, and customers. Additionally, you will perform technical assignments, solve moderately complex problems, and contribute to team goals through personal efforts or influence over team members. You may also work as a back-up of the lead/manager and closely collaborate with business/technology stakeholders as needed, following agile scrum processes as specified for the team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Define automation test strategies for critical features of the CCH Axcess Client Collaboration powered by Expert AI solutions product to ensure high-quality delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Product Management, Development, UX, and other engineering groups.
- Drive technical excellence through code reviews, design discussions, and adherence to best practices.
- Contribute to automation roadmap decisions and long-term technical strategy.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure automatic execution with every build and deployment.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, fostering a culture of learning and ownership.
- Ensure quality and performance of the application.
- Participate in roadmap planning and align engineering efforts with business goals.
**Qualifications Required:**
- 6+ years of software test automation experience, preferably with complex web applications.
- Advanced technical troubleshooting, diagnosing, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong test automation skills in C# or willingness to learn and work on C#.
- Proficiency in .NET.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design, and debugging skills.
- Basic understanding of SQL database technologies.
- Proven experience in developing automated test frameworks like unit tests, Selenium, Playwright.
- Experience in functional/non-functional testing, API Testing, and UI testing.
- Strong manual testing and debugging abilities.
- Knowledge of the Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience in creating test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
- Ability to integrate automated test suites within CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions.
- Familiarity with managing test environments.
- Strong knowledge of Selenium/API Automation in C#.
- Ability to identify, analyze, and document defects clearly in collaboration with the development team.
- Understanding of AI testing and some experience with AI tools like Co-pilot.
- Self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset and a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and lead technical discussions.
