Job Description Role Overview: Our Software Quality Engineering team in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Software Quality Engineer to ensure that our next-generation software meets or exceeds end-user requirements. As a team member, you will be responsible for conducting quality control tests, developing test plans, analyzing results, providing feedback to developers, and ensuring all issues are resolved. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to drive product quality and customer satisfaction through comprehensive test plans. Key Responsibilities: - Contribute to test automation activities by coding and programming in current languages - Develop and evaluate test methodologies and processes - Provide requirements and specifications for automating test cases - Deliver subsystems, anticipate issues, and address them proactively - Author and execute test cases for manual and automated testing Qualifications Required: - Deep understanding of File Systems and File Protocols (CIFS/NFS) - Experience in Storage (NAS) Testing for functional and Systemic Testing - Proficiency in software testing methodologies and lifecycle - Strong coding abilities in Python and experience in automation development - Familiarity with different Linux operating systems - Experience working in an Agile Development model Additional Details: Every Dell Technologies team member contributes uniquely to our collaborative environment.
