With a young, aggressive, and talented team, we're driving major missions forward.As a Software Development Engineer - Level 3 (SDE3) you will be responsible for designing and implementing systems across one of our engineering teams. This is an open-ended role given our teams are in constant need of experienced engineers, so the final team will only be known at the time of clearing the interview process.In this position, you will be owning specific, narrow segments of noon.com and drive their development. You will closely collaborate with stakeholders directly impacted by those segments, mentor and train junior colleagues as well as contribute to the overall quality of our core tech stack.Note: this is an AI-enabled engineering position – we want candidates who apply to be well-versed with AI tooling for software development, understand how and when to use it and cognizant of trade-offs and where problems may hide. Noon is journeying into integrating AI into our standard software engineering lifecycle, and we’d like folks we hire to be catalysts of that transition.Own narrow segments of our marketplace, being able to both understand stakeholders’ requirements as well as the impact that those will have into our stackDevelop clean and effective engineering solutions to our business problemsDesign fault-tolerant, highly available distributed systemsBe able to translate requirements into bug-free working codeBe a strong advocate for avoiding accidental complexity when designing processes & systemsMentor and lead more junior members of the engineering teamWhat you'll need -Familiar with our core stack (Python / FastAPI / Pydantic / Golang / MySQL)Versed with GCP-native databases such as BigTable / SpannerVery familiar with (and confident writing) SQLAt least 3/6 years working experienceUnderstand how to leverage AI to boost productivity, how to steer agents and when to do things by handExperienced with distributed systemsA self directed personality and ability to work independentlyPrior experience within the e-commerce industryWho will excel -We’re looking for people with high standards, who understand that hard work matters.You need to be relentlessly resourceful and operate with a deep bias for action.We need people with the courage to be fiercely original.noon is not for everyone; readiness to adapt, pivot, and learn is essential.#J-18808-Ljbffr
