Senior Software Engineer

<div><p>We are looking for a highly skilled<b>Senior Software Engineer</b>with strong expertise in<b>Java and database technologies</b>to join our client in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in the<b>banking domain, especially corporate lending</b>, along with hands-on experience in APIs, system integrations, and end-to-end solution delivery.</p><h3><b>Key Responsibilities</b></h3><ul><li>Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using<b>Java and MS SQL / PL-SQL</b>.</li><li>Perform<b>end-to-end solutioning</b>, including requirement analysis, functional design, and implementation.</li><li>Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.</li><li>Lead and participate in<b>requirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, and expectation alignment</b>.</li><li>Ensure timely delivery by managing<b>milestones, dependencies, and coordination across teams</b>.</li><li>Develop and integrate<b>APIs and enterprise-level system integrations</b>.</li><li>Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product teams.</li><li>Follow<b>Agile methodologies</b>, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.</li><li>Contribute to<b>DevOps practices</b>, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.</li></ul><h3><b>Required Skills&Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>Strong experience in<b>Java development</b>.</li><li>Hands-on experience with<b>MS SQL / PL-SQL</b>.</li><li>Good understanding of<b>corporate lending and banking domain</b>.</li><li>Experience with<b>APIs, microservices, and system integrations</b>.</li><li>Strong knowledge of<b>software development lifecycle (SDLC)</b>.</li><li>Experience working in<b>Agile environments</b>.</li><li>Exposure to<b>DevOps tools and practices</b>.</li><li>Excellent<b>communication and stakeholder management skills</b>.</li><li>Ability to take<b>ownership of deliverables and timelines</b>.</li></ul><h3><b>Preferred Qualifications</b></h3><ul><li>Prior experience working with<b>banking or financial institutions</b>.</li><li>Familiarity with<b>enterprise architecture and distributed systems</b>.</li><li>Experience in handling<b>large-scale, mission-critical applications</b>.</li></ul><h3><b>Soft Skills</b></h3><ul><li>Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking</li><li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment</li><li>Proactive and ownership-driven mindset</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
