Senior Software Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilledSenior Software Engineerwith strong expertise inJava and database technologiesto join our client in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in thebanking domain, especially corporate lending, along with hands-on experience in APIs, system integrations, and end-to-end solution delivery.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable applications usingJava and MS SQL / PL-SQL.Performend-to-end solutioning, including requirement analysis, functional design, and implementation.Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and refine requirements.Lead and participate inrequirement workshops, stakeholder discussions, and expectation alignment.Ensure timely delivery by managingmilestones, dependencies, and coordination across teams.Develop and integrateAPIs and enterprise-level system integrations.Work closely with cross-functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product teams.FollowAgile methodologies, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.Contribute toDevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong experience inJava development.Hands-on experience withMS SQL / PL-SQL.Good understanding ofcorporate lending and banking domain.Experience withAPIs, microservices, and system integrations.Strong knowledge ofsoftware development lifecycle (SDLC).Experience working inAgile environments.Exposure toDevOps tools and practices.Excellentcommunication and stakeholder management skills.Ability to takeownership of deliverables and timelines.Preferred QualificationsPrior experience working withbanking or financial institutions.Familiarity withenterprise architecture and distributed systems.Experience in handlinglarge-scale, mission-critical applications.Soft SkillsStrong problem-solving and analytical thinkingExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentProactive and ownership-driven mindset#J-18808-Ljbffr
