Job Description As a skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer with expertise in the Flowable BPM platform, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing business process management (BPM) solutions while integrating modern software development practices and tools. Your responsibilities will include: - Collaborating with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for process automation solutions - Designing and implementing BPMN 2.0 workflows using the Flowable BPM platform - Customizing and enhancing the Flowable engine to support specific project functionalities - Integrating the Flowable platform with external systems and third-party applications for seamless process automation - Developing and maintaining APIs for system interoperability - Writing clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to coding standards and industry best practices - Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects - Conducting performance tuning, troubleshooting, and debugging of Flowable-based solutions - Contributing to architecture discussions and suggesting improvements for scalability and reliability - Mentoring junior developers and sharing technical knowledge with the team - Staying updated with new trends, tools, and technologies in BPM and software development Qualifications required for this role include: - 5+ years of experience in software development, with proven expertise using the Flowable BPM platform - Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs - Strong understanding of BPMN 2.0 and business process modeling principles - Background in integrating Flowable with relational databases like MySQL or Oracle - Experience working within Agile development environments - Familiarity with version control tools such as Git and CI/CD practices - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with the ability to address complex business challenges - Competency in working within and contributing to collaborative, team-based environments - Knowledge of DMN for decision modeling and Rule Engines - Skills in front-end technologies like Angular or React for building workflow-based UI solutions - Understanding of containerized deployments using Docker or Kubernetes - Familiarity with monitoring tools and solutions for BPM platforms Additionally, you should have a showcase of previous work in microservices-based architectures.
