Senior Software Engineer - Calypso

This role is for a strong Calypso engineer who can handle front-to-back implementation and work across risk (ERS), integration, and core platform modules. If “Calypso troubleshooting” is your cardio, you’ll fit right in.What You’ll DoImplement and support Calypso across asset classes (Fixed Income, Money Market, IR, FX, Credit derivatives, Non-linear derivatives)Work on Risk Management (ERS) including Limits + VaR setupBuild and enhance integrations for trade and market data feeds (Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.)Troubleshoot Calypso modules at app/server/network levelContribute to API patterns and integrations via Open API / Open Banking-style patternsSupport back-office workflows: static data, messages, transfers, settlementsMust-Have SkillsStrong understanding of Calypso architecture + APIs (minimum version v15.2)Strong Java experience (1.7+): OOP, collections, multithreadingOracle PL/SQL + understanding of Calypso data modelApp server/build tools: JBoss, GradleIntegration experience: Open API patterns, market/trade data interfacesFunctional strength in trading systems + risk concepts (ERS, VaR, limits, curves, market data)Soft SkillsCan influence teams without being “that person”.
