Job Description You have a fantastic opportunity to join LSEG (London Stock Exchange Group) as a Senior Associate in their Data & Feeds Derived Content team, responsible for maintaining their cloud-based Analytics Self-Service Platform. This platform enables the companys Analytics as Content capability, providing world-changing insights based on rich content sources. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own Core applications source code throughout the full lifecycle, including invention, implementation, testing, deployment, optimisations, observability, and support. - Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to handle and optimize Cloud resources usage, primarily Azure functions and Azure AKS. - Collaborate on Containerization Solutions for composition, support, and optimizations (AKS/EKS). - Leverage the Kubernetes Java client for cluster interactions and automation. - Contribute to the Azure migration plan and help build parity with the current AWS architecture. - Write robust unit and integration tests, maintain code quality with SpotBugs and Jacoco coverage. - Work with build tooling, ensure reliability, and observability with structured logging and pragmatic error handling. - Participate in problem-solving and fixing tasks. **Experience Required:** **Must Have:** - 812 years of total IT experience. - 3+ years of professional experience in building Java backend applications and APIs on Azure/AWS clouds. - Proficiency in Java (11/17+), Maven, and Azure Functions (Java). - Experience with various technologies such as Apache Flink, Docker, Kubernetes, JUnit 5, Mockito, Git, and more. - Bachelors Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science. **Advantage, Nice to Have:** - AWS Lambda, EKS. - Azure/AWS Developer Certification. - Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm. **Qualifications:** - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. - Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. - Flexible, adaptable, and open to learning new technologies. - Proficient in English.
