Senior Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at our Pune location with 4-6 years of experience, your role involves designing, prototyping, and building the cloud infrastructure to support our current Platform. You will enable Agile and DevSecOps practices for industry-leading digital delivery, ensuring automation and re-usability are built into every part of the platform. With a security-first mindset, you will review deployment and operational environments, troubleshoot issues, and manage technical operations. Your responsibility also includes evangelizing Site Reliability Engineering practices to the global Jaguar Land Rover team. **Key Responsibilities:** - Design, prototype, and build cloud infrastructure for the current Platform - Enable Agile and DevSecOps practices - Incorporate automation and re-usability into the platform - Promote a security-first mindset and best practices within the development team - Review deployment and operational environments, troubleshoot issues, and manage technical operations - Evangelize Site Reliability Engineering practices to the global team **Qualification Required:** - Working knowledge of containerized apps and the SDLC - Strong experience with at least one public cloud platform (GCP, AWS, Azure etc.) - Ideally working knowledge of Kubernetes - Good knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform) and scripting languages (Bash / Python) - Solid understanding of networking concepts, technologies, and protocols (TCP/IP, IPSec, HTTP(S), FTP, DHCP, DNS) - Experience with SCM systems (Git / GitHub / GitLab) and modern CI/CD tools and techniques The company is looking for an individual who works independently, is results-driven, demonstrates tenacity, drive, and perseverance, and can deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment.
