Job Description
PURPOSEThe Senior Sales Specialist plays a key role in driving business growth by identifying, developing, and maintaining relationships with clients. The role focuses on generating new opportunities, managing high-value accounts, and ensuring that client needs are met through tailored solutionsROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify and pursue new business opportunities to achieve assigned sales targetsManage and expand relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term partnershipsPrepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and commercial offersNegotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close profitable dealsConduct regular market analysis to stay updated on trends, competitors, and client needsCollaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery and client satisfactionMaintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions in the CRM systemSupport junior sales team members with guidance and knowledge sharing when neededRepresent the company at events, exhibitions, and networking activitiesProvide monthly performance reports and pipeline updates to the Sales ManagerINTERACTIONInternal: Collaborates closely with the Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Finance teams to align client needs, pricing structures, and delivery timelinesExternal: Engages with existing and potential clients, partners, and vendors to promote company offerings and secure new business opportunitiesPREREQUISITESBachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field7–9 years of experience in sales, preferably in eventsProven track record of achieving or exceeding annual sales targetsExperience handling key accounts and complex B2B dealsFamiliarity with CRM systems (e.g. Odoo)Strong understanding of market dynamics, pricing strategies, and client acquisitionSkills & CompetenciesFluent in English (written and spoken)Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skillsStrategic thinking with a results‑oriented mindsetExcellent organizational and time‑management abilitiesCustomer‑focused approach with strong relationship‑building capabilitiesConfidence in handling high‑value deals and complex client requirementsProficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office applicationsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across teamsResilience and adaptability in a fast‑paced and competitive environmentMentorship skills to support less experienced team membersINDIVIDUAL ANNUAL PERFORMANCE INDICATORS (KPIs)Sales targets and revenue goalsNumber of new clients acquired per quarterClient retention rate and satisfaction scoreWin‑rate ratio between proposals submitted and deals closed#J-18808-Ljbffr
