<div><p><b>Job Title:</b>Sr Resource Geologist</p><p><b>Location:</b>Dubai UAE</p><p><b>Experience:</b>15 Years in Geological Modelling(Resource&Database) (Minimum 5 Years in Africa regions)</p><p><b>Salary Range:</b>Up to AED 35000 per month (Negotiable - Based on Experience)</p><p><b>Travel:</b>As required based on client needs</p><h3>Benefits</h3><p>Initial relocation support including airfare and temporary accommodation.</p><h3>Job Overview</h3><p>We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Resource Geologist to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in geological modelling and resource estimation with in-depth knowledge of industry standards such as JORC and NI 43-101. This role plays a crucial part in supporting exploration mine planning and strategic decision-making for ongoing and future mining projects particularly in Africa and the broader region.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Analyze and interpret geological data using specialist geological software.</li><li>Develop and maintain 3D geological models to support Mineral Resources and Ore Reserves estimation.</li><li>Integrate geological geochemical and geophysical data to enhance resource modelling accuracy.</li><li>Develop multiple geological and mining scenarios to aid decision-making.</li><li>Evaluate risks and opportunities associated with mineral deposits.</li><li>Support exploration programs (greenfield and brownfield) through data-driven target generation.</li><li>Conduct fieldwork and geological data collection to support technical studies.</li><li>Prepare and present comprehensive geological reports for both technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including geologists, engineers and management.</li><li>Assist in the planning and supervision of mining operations to ensure optimal resource extraction.</li><li>Conduct due diligence for potential investments, mergers and acquisitions.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with international reporting standards (JORC, NI 43-101 etc.).</li><li>Document and manage geological data and ensure it is archived for future reference.</li><li>Contribute to the digitization and modernization of geological and mining data systems.</li><li>Provide training and mentorship to junior geologists and technical team members.</li><li>Explore innovative technologies to enhance resource modelling and mining efficiency.</li><li>Apply knowledge of African geology and regional mineral systems to support exploration and development projects across the continent.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications&Skills</h3><ul><li>Masters degree in Geology, Geosciences or a related discipline.</li><li>Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.</li><li>Competent Person (CP) under JORC and/or NI 43-101 standards preferred.</li><li>Advanced proficiency in geological software such as ArcGIS, Leapfrog, Surpac, Datamine etc.</li><li>Deep understanding of geological exploration, resource estimation and mine planning.</li><li>Strong geographical knowledge of African mineral belts, terrains and geology.</li><li>Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex geoscientific data.</li><li>Effective written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>Team-oriented with strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
