Senior Resident Engineer - Site

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Resident Engineer to join our team in Dubai United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our building construction management team you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of on-site engineering activities for large-scale construction project.Lead and coordinate all on-site engineering activities ensuring adherence to project specifications quality standards and safety regulationsCollaborate with project managers contractors and stakeholders to resolve technical issues and maintain project timelinesReview and approve construction methodologies work plans and technical submittalsConduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with design specifications and local building codesManage and mentor junior engineers and technical staff on-sitePrepare and present detailed progress reports identifying potential risks and proposing mitigation strategiesLiaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvalsImplement and maintain robust safety protocols to ensure a safe working environmentAnalyze and optimize construction processes to improve efficiency and cost-effectivenessQualificationsBachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a related fieldMinimum 15 years of experience as Resident Engineer/Senior Resident Engineer with a focus on large-scale projects. Minimum total years of experience is 20 years.Professional Engineering (PE) license preferred or any equivalent.Contract management and oversight practiciing skillsis a must.Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies quality control processes and safety regulationsProficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software and Microsoft Office SuiteStrong project management skills with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budgetIn-depth understanding of the construction industry and local building codes in Dubai UAEFamiliarity with UAE construction standards and practicesExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detailStrong leadership and communication abilities with experience in managing and mentoring teamsAbility to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing project requirementsFluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plusRemote WorkNoEmployment TypeFull-time#J-18808-Ljbffr
